Erica Basta:

Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology from the University of Kansas.  Following school, she spent several years as a medical sales representative with Stryker Medical before going into recruiting.  She thus sees the market from both the client's and candidate's perspective.  She has been in the recruiting field for 6 years.

When she is not changing lives, Erica competes in half marathons and backcountry skis with her husband Toby and her dog Charlie.  One of their favorite adventures was hiking the Machu Picchu Trail in Peru.  They often escape to Costa Rica, where they are building a home. Pura Vida!

Sharon Romesser:

Sharon completed a 14 year stretch of competitive swimming on an athletic scholarship at UC Berkeley.  In her senior year, she was an All American and team captain.  She graduated with a degree in Communications.

Following graduation, Sharon shifted her athletic focus to running and has since completed 14 marathons including four finishes at the Boston Marathon.  Thriving on new challenges, Sharon then stepped up to the rarified world of triathletes.  She has twice competed in Ironman Canada with an impressive 1st place finish in her age group in 2004 and a 2nd place in her age group in 2005.  For the last two years, she has participated in the world famous Hawaii Ironman World Championships.  Her 3rd place finish in her age group at Ironman Arizona in April of this year has earned her another slot at this year's championships.

Even more impressive than her achievement in the athletic arena have been her achievements in the recruiting arena.  Sharon has been recruiting since 1995.

Susan Brusseau:

Susan graduated from Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York.  There, she earned a BA in Psychology while fighting for victories on the women's volleyball team.  Prior to entering the recruiting industry, she was an educator for over 10 years.  A devoted teacher, she won many awards, including the prestigious Honorary Service Award.

In her spare time Susan is an avid runner.  She has competed in five marathons including the Marine Corps in Washington DC, Los Angeles, and San Diego.  She has also competed in the Big Bear Triathlon.  An insatiable adventurer, she has explored the Mentawais, Bali, Sumatra, Thailand, Italy, France, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, and every major city in the US.

Closest to her heart is her new husband, Jed Brusseau. They enjoy visiting family, running the trails in Big Sur, and walking their four legged pals, Jack and Primo, at the Beach in Carmel by the Sea.

Tammy Rothschild:

Tammy graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Psychology.  She attended OSU on a full athletic scholarship in swimming.  While serving as the team captain her senior year, Tammy earned the MVP award, a fitting way to round out her 14 years of competitive swimming.

Tammy has been in the recruiting industry since 1995, and brings to her career the same enthusiasm and competitive edge that won her success in the pool.  In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with friends and family –specifically, her husband, Brad and daughters, Riley, 4 and Skylar 1.

Forever the athlete, Tammy participates in 5 and 10K runs and triathlons.  You'll also find her back in the water for our local tradition: the Pier to Pier swim – 2 miles from the Hermosa Beach Pier to the Manhattan Beach Pier.

Sidney Bateman:

Sidney is a graduate of Florida State Univeristy with a degree in Communications and has been in the recruiting industry since 1999.  She worked for 5 1/2 years managing the contingent workforce for Maritz, Inc., an international company based in St. Louis.

A world traveler, Sidney has explored Southeast Asia, India, Nepal, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.  She also competes in triathlons (she recently finished the Vineman 70.3 1/2 Ironman), is an avid snowboarder and loves spending time with friends and family. When she is not traveling, snowboarding or golfing, you can find her watching college football and cheering on her Seminoles.

Lesley Vella:

Lesley graduated from the University of Colorado with a double major in Communications and Spanish.  While she was in college, Lesley spent time in Seville, Spain where she studied at the Universidad de Sevilla.

She has significant experience in the field of recruiting as she spent four years as a senior marketing manager and recruiter for Bernstein Global Wealth Management.

When she is not busy recruiting, Lesley loves to travel, most recently to China and Japan with plans to head to South America next year.  She is an avid skier and hiker who loves to explore local hiking trails and has hiked to the summit of Pike's Peak.  In addition, she places a premium on the time she spends with her mom, dad and brother, David and her four-legged friends Ranger, Riley and Barkely.

Andi Atteberry:

Andi is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds her degree in Broadcast Journalism.  After graduating, she spent time as a reporter/anchor in the Northern Mariana Islands and then worked for the NBC affiliate in Guam.

In her free time, Andi loves to travel and stay fit, recently completing her first marathon.  In addition to running, she has a passion for beach volleyball, scuba, diving and swimming.  Over the years, she has explored China, Tibet, Mongolia, Bali, Australia and Micronesia, and considers seeing the sunrise over Mt. Everest Base Camp in Tibet to be one of the most exciting moments of her life.

Andi is most proud of her parents and her brother who have long supported her in her many adventures.
